The Evektor EV-97 EuroStar is a Czech-built light sport aircraft that has become one of Europe's most successful ultralight designs since its introduction in the late 1990s. Manufactured by Evektor-Aerotechnik in Kunovice, Czech Republic, the EuroStar was specifically engineered to meet both European ultralight regulations and the emerging US Light Sport Aircraft category, making it one of the first aircraft certified under FAA LSA rules in 2004.
