Features
Everything you need to understand a flight
SkyMeter rebuilds any commercial or general-aviation flight from raw ADS-B telemetry into a cinematic, NTSB-style 3D replay with real attitude, weather, terrain, and runway events you can actually analyze. Free for the last 7 days; Pro unlocks the full archive and exports. Explore each capability in depth below.

Find Any Flight
Search millions of flights across the archive by describing them the way you'd say them out loud. No tail numbers, no filter syntax.

Rebuild the Timeline
SkyMeter reconstructs a smooth, physics-based flight path from sparse ADS-B samples: motion, altitude, speed, and heading all synced on one timeline.

Understand the Moment
A full instrument panel and 3D terrain context on top of every replay. Scrub to any second and read real attitude, airspeed, and vertical speed.

Incident Detection
Go-arounds, unstable and missed approaches, rejected take-offs, excursions, and more, flagged automatically across the whole archive, each with a citable page and one-click replay.

Runway Metrics
See how every runway actually performs: touchdown points, landing and go-around rates, approach speeds, and crosswind, aggregated from real traffic across 47,000+ runways.

X-Plane Exports
Export a full X-Plane FDR file and re-fly the exact track, with real attitude and gear state, in cinema-quality sim graphics.

Weather overlay
Every replay is baked with the weather that was actually present: wind, cloud layers, and conditions from ERA5 reanalysis and GFS, plus the nearest METAR observations. The navigation display can show the actual weather radar (NEXRAD) and satellite imagery for the flight's time and place. These are real conditions along the route, not the aircraft's onboard radar. See the headwind, crosswind, and gusts at the threshold, and understand why an approach looked the way it did.
Multi-aircraft near-miss replay Coming Soon
When two aircraft are involved (a near-miss, a go-around over an occupied runway, a runway incursion) SkyMeter replays them together on one shared clock and shows exactly how close they came, with a live separation readout for horizontal distance, vertical gap, and slant range. Because both tracks are the aircraft's own ADS-B data, the separation is measured, not simulated.
Airport, airline & route analytics
Every airport, airline, and route has a live profile: daily traffic, busiest segments, on-time performance, runway usage, aircraft mix, and recent safety events, all derived from real ADS-B data and updated continuously.
Advanced search Pro
Prefer precise controls to plain English? The advanced search builder combines aircraft, operator, airport, route, altitude, speed, event, and date filters with exact operators, so you can pinpoint an exact set of flights across the whole archive.
