Do I need a tail number or flight number?

No. You can search by one if you have it, but the whole point of natural-language search is that you don't need to. Describe the aircraft, place, altitude, or event and SkyMeter finds the match.

How far back can I search?

Free access covers the last 7 days. Pro unlocks the full rolling 365-day archive of worldwide flights, and we're actively expanding it toward a four-year backlog.

Is this live flight tracking?

SkyMeter is a historical replay and analytics platform. It searches flights that have already flown so you can study them in full 3D. It isn't a live radar map.

What data powers the search?

A continuously processed global ADS-B and MLAT feed covering millions of flights across more than 60,000 airports.
