The Aero Vodochody L-159 ALCA (Advanced Light Combat Aircraft) is a Czech single-engine subsonic jet designed in the 1990s as a multirole light attack aircraft and advanced trainer for the Czech Air Force. Derived from the earlier L-39 Albatros trainer lineage, the L-159 features a modern glass cockpit, hands-on-throttle-and-stick controls, and Western avionics including a multifunction display and head-up display.
