The Evektor EV-55 Outback is a Czech-built light twin turboprop designed for utility missions in austere environments. First flown in 2011 and certified under FAR Part 23, the Outback was conceived as a rugged, unpressurized workhorse capable of operating from short, unpaved strips, hence the name.
