The Tecnam P2019 is a modern Italian light-sport aircraft that entered production in 2017, designed by the Pascale brothers' Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam. Built as a high-wing, side-by-side two-seater, the P2019 targets the flight training and personal recreation markets with a focus on efficiency and ease of handling. It's powered by the fuel-injected Rotax 912iS engine producing 100 horsepower, driving a constant-speed propeller — a relatively sophisticated powerplant for the LSA category that delivers excellent fuel economy and smooth operation at altitude.
