Narrow runway
The narrow asphalt runway 18/36 is used by ultralight, piston aircraft and gliders alike. At the north end the runway transitions to a gravel path which is not usable for aircraft movement and quickly slopes upwards towards the winch location. When a takeoff or landing is announced over the radio frequency the crossing road is closed with holding bars. If no one is present at the tower there may be vehicles crossing the runway, so be careful when landing after hours. The winch is quite powerful but the winch launch length isn't very long.
