Flying at Duxford
First flew gliders at Duxford in November 1961 and my last logged flight here in June 1962. My first introduction to a Motor tow launch. Was based at RAF Waterbeach at the time and offered a chance to fly a Turbulent. Missed it!! John Delafield flew it though. RAF Duxford was my first posting as a Boy Entrant (SAC qualified Air Radar Mech) in April 1959.
