Re: PVG
Multiple airports can have the same three-letter code in *different* organization systems. Yes, PVG is the IATA code for Shanghai Pudong, but PVG is also the FAA LID for Hampton Roads. Note that Shanghai Pudong won't *have* an FAA LID because that is only for airports within the United States. Obviously the ICAO codes (ZSPD and KPVG) are therefore quite different.
