Active and friendly
One of the most active and welcoming small GA airports you'll find. Take one of the multiple courtesy cars for lunch or to the nearby beach. Two extremely good maintenance shops, avionics shop, helicopter and fixed wing flight schools, skydiving, Hertz onsite, even a real estate broker and a bait and tackle shop onsite! "How can we make your day better?" Is more than a slogan!

Convenient to SE NC Beaches
Stop by and visit with Howie Franklin -- Airport Manager, who used to serve on Air Force One... His office is a museum. He loves visitors... even give you a discount on fuel.

C172 rentals, self service fuel.
Was down in NC for vacation, decided to check out in and rent a 172 to give some friends a short tour of the southern NC coast. The check out instructor was nice and pointed out many sightseeing and local landmarks. Check-out was a *little* longer than I felt necessary, but again, was partly a sightseeing tour.
