Joint military-civilian airfield opened to civilian traffic in 1995, it has been closed 'temporarily' to the latter in 2011, though with no known date of reopening (or if there is actually going to be a reopening at all).
Used to house the Aveiro Air Club, and has a long paved runway in very good condition.

This runway belongs to a military base and was closed to civil traffic in 2010 or 2011
