Love it
Pune airport is small and nice. handling few international flights only, but it is connection Abu Dhabi through jet airways, Dubai through spicejet and Frankfurt through Lufthansa, maybe even more. Airport staff, security and immigration officers are always very friendly and helpful and more relaxed than bigger airports like Delhi or Mumbai. Whenever I can I travel through Pune Airport only. Very convenient. For Mumbai airport flights I need to leave home 8 hours before flight. For pune max to max 2,5 hours. Lot of construction is going on, waiting area is getting improved a lot currently and new gangways are being built.

Useless airport.I've heard that some one or two international or semi-internatnl. flights are also there from this airport,,,but how can they manage with such a small airport and runway?Even Nagpur DBA airport is better than this.ppl from pune have to travel to Mumbai or some other city such as Dehi or Bangalore to leave the country....

Not so big airport
Maximum 5 to 6 planes can be landed on Pune airport runway everyday.It is a very small airport.Any international traveler from Pune needs to go to Mumbai airport,as Pune airport handles only some domestic flights.
