re: Best aeroclub around.
I agree ,it is great airport. You can use the grass during the summer.Ring the club during winter months for serviceability.runway 17/35 good for x/wind training.Sadly moorabbin airport is being screwed by the government and MAC,so its refreshing to come to Tyabb...Capt Bob

Old Flyer
My names Peter, I flew regularly with Group Air Flying School from Casey Field Berwick from 1975 until 1993 just before the airfield closed. I visited Tyabb and other local flying groups socially as was the normal thing throughout my flying time.. I got married, and run off my feet with work and other commitments that flying had to go into the back ground for a while. I was wondering if there are any other persons who used to be with Group Air are still about and where

re: Best aeroclub around.
Bloody narrow strip though, makes it a bit harder to judge your approach than average. Otherwise, good facilities and nice people.

Best aeroclub around.
This is my home aerodrome and its brilliant. If you ever get a chance to visit, do! Please note all circuits are to the east due to the 'fly neighborly' policy.
