The Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat is a Ukrainian-designed light sport aircraft that has become popular worldwide for its rugged construction, excellent visibility, and forgiving flight characteristics. First flown in the mid-1990s and entering production in 1996, the high-wing two-seater was engineered by the Aeroprakt design bureau in Kyiv specifically for the emerging ultralight and light sport aircraft markets.
